An option to deduce realname and username from the user’s JID

an option like

“realname_from_jid=true”

Would do the following changes:

  • disable the ad-hoc commands to configure the realname and the username
  • use the JID’s node part as the username, and the bare JID as the realname

(from redmine: created on 2015-10-12, closed on 2015-10-12)

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
